Read what Gov. Rauf Aregbesola said on Ile-Ife crises

1. My heart goes out to those who lost their lives in Ile-Ife yesterday.

2. This government has set the security of lives and properties as one of its top priorities

3. We condemn in the strongest terms, the events of yesterday and we will not tolerate a breakdown of law and order in the state

4. I am glad to inform the general public that calm has been restored to the ancient city of Ile-Ife.

5. We are working with the security operatives and community leaders to bring those culpable to book.

6. The curfew imposed in  the city of Ile-Ife is still in effect till Friday, 10th of March, 2017.

7. Our prayers are with the families of the departed. May God grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. Osun a dara!
