Tribune editor becomes chief in Itori

The Olu of Itori, Oba AbdulFatai Akamo will confer chieftancy title of Baaroyin to an Assistant Editor with Nigerian Tribune, Tunde Busari.
The event, according to a statement, will hold on April 6 at King's Court in the Ogun State town.

Oba Akamo is currently celebrating his 15th Coronation Anniversary to be rounded off with the conferment of chieftancy titles to some personalities.
Expected at the occasion are traditional rulers, including the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Eniitan Ogunwusi, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi, the Alake of Egba, Oba Michael Adedapo Gbadebo  and others.

Busari has previously worked in top media organisations like Sunday Punch, The Nation, Newswatch, National Mirror and National Life before his current office.
"I consider this title as a surprise because it didn't cross my mind that the casual compliment by friends would be a reality. I therefore thank Kabiyesi for the honour," he said.
